Areas where these textiles are utilized are as follows :


  • Structural Components : They are used in aircraft wings, tail sections, and doors, providing lightweight strength  and durability compared to metals.
  • Cabin Interiors : The lightweight technical textiles are used in seats, flooring, and partitions, thus reducing the overall aircraft weight while meeting strict safety standards.
  • Thermal Insulation : Technical textiles are used in the cabin walls and cockpits to keep the temperature stable.
  • Aerospace Composites : They are used in radomes (radar domes), fairings, and engine nacelles in order to absorb shocks and resist the damage caused by any impact.
